The third of the snake series, "Metallurgical Serpent" is an acrylic painting of a white cobra on a 30 x 40 inch canvas. Each snake is a progression from the previous, and this one was meant to explore the subtleties of whites in the scales and the different colours within those whites that make up the shades and shape of the overall body of the snake. The end result was not as subtle as intended, but still pleasing in that it created a metallic effect without using any blatantly "metal" colours at all.
Each print is on 8.5 x 11 inch ultra premium luster photo paper, and is open edition.
