"Disco Lizard" Original Painting

"Disco Lizard" 2026, original painting by Benjamin Goward.

Inspired by a family pet tegu lizard, this piece continues to explore new ways of painting scales in an abstract painterly style that is characteristic of Ben's work. It is a playful experience of unexpected colours among the loosely repetitive square and triangle scales throughout the leathery skin of the lizard.
